Holger Noltze

Journalist, presenter and professor of music journalism Holger Noltze (1960) was born in Essen, Germany. He worked as an editor and a presenter on various programmes for WDR radio from 1990 and for WDR television from 1997. He was appointed as head of music and media at TU Dortmund University in 2005. 
Holger Noltze writes criticism and reportage for publications such as the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and the opera magazine Opernwelt
He co-founded takt1, an online platform for classic music, in 2016. He divides his time between Cologne and Dortmund.
