The literary and film agency marcel hartges was founded in Munich in January 2016 by publisher Marcel Hartges. Since 2026, it has been operating under the name hartges & hartges Literatur- und Filmagentur GmbH and is managed by Bettina and Marcel Hartges. Besides Munich, there is also an office in Berlin.
We represent authors primarily in the fields of fiction and non-fiction – from concept development through to the placing of manuscripts on a German-speaking and international level. Another key focus of our work is the representation of film rights, as well as the management of presenting engagements, screenplays, podcasts and TV projects.
