Florian Jaenicke, born in 1969 in Frankfurt am Main, studied photography and film design in Dortmund and London. Since 1998 he has worked as a freelance photographer for portraits und reportages, mainly for magazines and design agencies. His pictures have been shown in various exhibitions including Dazed & Confused Gallery London, Münchner Architekturgalerie and Museum Altona in Hamburg. In the photo column 2019 of the ZEIT magazine named Wer bist Du? he shows portraits of his teenage son Friedrich from his birth until today. The photo series documents what life feels like with a severely multi-disabled child.
