Étienne Thierry
Étienne Thierry (they/dey/iel/none) studied language arts at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and graduated their Master’s degree in January 2026. Prior to that, they studied translation and interpreting in Geneva, amongst other places, and have had numerous texts published in various journals, anthologies and literary magazines (DUM, Die Rampe, Kolik, etc.). Étienne Thierry is co-editor of Jenny #12, and winner of second place in the FM4-Wortlaut 2024 competition.
An der Grenze, Étienne’s debut novel, is to be published by Zsolnay in autumn 2027.
