Axel Buether

Prof. Dr. Axel Buether studied architecture and did his doctorate on the border area of neuropsychology and environmental design on the topic of "Semiotics of the Visual Space". From 2006 to 2012, he taught and researched at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle on the artistic-design principles in the field of "Colour Light Space". Since 2012, he has been a professor for "Didactics of Visual Communication" at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. With his Institute for Colour Psychology, he researches the effects of colours on human experience and behaviour.
