Amonte Schröder-Jürss

Amonte Schröder-Jürss, born in 1992, studied literary writing at the Hildesheim Literature Institute, then studied at the Reutlingen Reportage School. She was awarded the Hansel-Mieth Prize and the Axel Springer Prize, among others. In 2022 she was also nominated for the Nannen Prize in the Egon Erwin Kisch category and the Michael Althen Prize for criticism. After working for SZ and NDR, she has been working for DIE ZEIT in the Discover department since 2022. The author lives in Berlin.
